The late Dr. Manning Marable talks about the significance of Barack Obama’s election as President of the United States of America. Dr. Marable was professor of public affairs, political science, history and African American studies at Columbia University in New York City. He was the author of many books, including Living Black History: How Reimagining the African-American Past Can Remake America’s Racial Future.
